Time changes perspective.

I didn't understand 'mature students' when I was an undergraduate doing a BA, and I didn't understand the direct from university students when I was a 'mature student' doing an MSc 14 years later.
Time changes perspective.
Knowledge is not something that we complete when we leave school or university; it's an ongoing process of learning to understand the world and people around us in order to find our place and understand ourselves in the world.
As I look at possible PhD options for the future, the idea of 'learning' until I pass 40 doesn't terrify me, it fills me with a sense of excitement and anticipation so that I can focus on the 'known-unknowns' and the 'unknown-unknowns'.
Learning doesn't have to be academic. There is more information available to us today on our smartphones than in all of the libraries of the pre-digital world combined.
What are you doing to continue learning next year?
